Song of the moment - Death Cab For Cutie - Title And Registration
AH i wrote this on Wednesday, but i forgot to post it so here it comes.

I watched this movie the other day and i thought i'd write about it now.. I was blown away, it surprised me.. so here i goes

Yesterday Nelson Luk, Who's now over at HK having an adventure of his own, treated a few of us to a free movie. Myspace Black Curtain competition does you wonders, watch a movie for free, 2 days early before its released and get free popcorn! But mister FuZZ how do i get this am
azing offer?! Easy Timmy, just join Myspace, go on the Black Curtain profile aaand then wait for them to release the lucky code. Once you get it instantly sms it in and if your early enough you win two tickets to see a wonderfully free movie! Aand whats free and is not good? Uhmm i don't know maybe expired food the next door neighbour keeps giving you? Yeah.. *pulls on collar* woo.. is it hot in here? Uhm YES So! We got to watch District 9! Movie set in Johannesburg, South Africa. Its funny they say something along the lines of "No, the aliens did not land in some famous American city". I got the joke, dont think anyone else did. The movie is at first filmed like a documentary, and i thought "What the hell is this?" it was wierd, a bunch of no name actors and wierd handheld-camera-like angles. People giving opinions, i thought it was a biopic on a fictional event. But dont worry, it gets better, thats all i'll say. The fact that it was no name actors helped too, so we don't immediately think its fake because we recognise that guy. The main character's accent is awesome, i thought i'd just throw that in, he sounds like Pauly from Fat Pizza. Ok so the movies about Aliens, who are nicknamed "Prawns", who are given a place to stay on earth, as they seem to be refugees. I found it interesting that we call immigrants Aliens and here are Aliens crossing over to our Earth, like literally. The South African setting is also interesting, cause most people think Africa and say poverty.. and here they are looking after another race. So anyways away from my social commentary. The humans get pissed at the Aliens just Living there (and getting violent) and want to remove them. So the movie starts, a guy is sent in to give the aliens Eviction notices... YES Eviction notices. Its hilarious cause the Aliens are like humans, He knocks on their doors and they open it for 2 seconds and shut it. I wont ruin the rest, but its hilarious how the Prawns adapt to human lifestyle in the movie. Off course its not a comedy but its these subtle little things that were funny, the movie was freakin awesome for its action though. Its got a decent storyline and the special effects were Insane! Oh and the movie was directed by Neill Blomkamp, not Peter Jackson.. AIIIIGHT!

I asked my brother Emir, Matt and Nelson beforehand what do they rate the movie before seeing it. Nelson said 1, Matt said 3-5 and Emir 7-8. I rated it 7 at the start. By the end of it i asked again, Matt gave it a 7, Nelson a 1.5 Emir a 9 and myself a 8.5. (They're rough counts, i've actually forgotten, my memories not that great.. Oh well) Nelson was just angry that it lacked Nikki Webster.. DUDE SHES UGLY! BUT!!! Thanks for taking us it was nice to catch up and get free bubblegum afterwards, plus there were some hotties at the movies so ;-D

Peeace.. and my real blog post is coming next-ish
